4square Advisory Services, Inc.

Begun in 2015, 4square Advisory Services, Inc (4ASI) was founded by Lawrence (Larry) Zimbler as the continuation of a career in investments and investment advice that dates back to 1985.  During much of that time, Larry was a registered securities representative and registered securities principal.   4ASI was the way Larry chose to move from being an agent of a securities broker/dealer into being an independent Registered Investment Advisor – an agent only for the client.

4ASI was started with the belief that truly independent investment advisors are hard to find and that many of them require large minimum investment amounts to come aboard as a client.  So a hybrid fee schedule was designed to be able to offer a client relationship that worked to the best interests of small clients, with a minimum account size of $2,500 with a commitment to make regular additions of any amount.

Larry believes that small investors generally need financial advice more than wealthy investors, but small investors cannot bring the revenue to an advisory firm that makes them profitable.

At 4ASI we pride ourselves on being low key, low pressure and low overhead.  You won’t see Larry in a suit for meetings, and you will meet him in a modest Fenton office, or at your home.  He doesn’t drive a particularly expensive car or live in a McMansion on a lake.  That’s just not how he lives, and you can benefit from that because an advisor that lives fancy needs to generate the revenue to do that, revenue that comes directly or indirectly from YOU.  Larry takes very seriously the admonition of Colossians 3:23, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”

4ASI charges you, the client, directly for our work.  Unless unavoidable, we do not recommend investments that sell on a commission basis, and Larry is not licensed to receive any commissions or compensation of any kind, from the investments recommended.  Our fees are among the lowest in the industry.   We’re happy to discuss our commitment to Fiduciary responsibility and total transparency in regard to any conflict of interests.

Creating 4ASI in 2015, having zero reportable events on his record, Larry (individual CRD 1439484) abandoned all securities and insurance licenses (except for FINRA Series 65 as required by state law) and operates an independent, fee-only investment management business.

4ASI is intended to be a small, boutique practice focused on the individual needs of each client.
